The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary research environment in the field of Nanoscale Science and Nanomaterials. Experience in research areas include: studies of nanoscale materials and devices, particularly carbon materials; synthesis, characterization and measurements of structural and electronic properties of carbon nanotubes and/or graphene; micro- or nanofabrication. Experience in electronic transport measurements or Scanning Probe Microscopy techniques is very desirable (those include but are not limited to STM/STS, AFM/SCM or /SKPM and SPM based nanolithography).

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated, organized and effective at working independently and in collaboration with others on multidisciplinary projects. Attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and willingness to work on multiple projects are expected. Candidates are expected to have demonstrated efficient communication and writing skills.
