This 24 month postdoctoral position is part of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network SMARTNET (Soft Materials Advanced Training NETwork). This project is a Multi-Partner ITN at the interface between chemistry, physics and biology and deals with the science and technology of molecular soft matter, including gels, emulsions and membranes. The scientific objective of SMARTNET is to explore a number of conceptually novel approaches towards development of the next generation molecular soft matter based on self-assembling small molecules as promising alternatives to existing systems. This objective will be realized in 15 focussed research projects.
