Open position for one (1) Postdoctoral Fellow
The Research Committee of the University of Patras announces a call of interest for one (1) postdoctoral fellow to participate in the research project “Cellulose nano and microbiotechnology: Extremely low temperature fermentations for food production” (Code Number: D955) at the Laboratory of Food Technology (Principal Investigator: Maria Kanellaki), Department of Chemistry, University of Patras. The project “Cellulose nano and microbiotechnology: Extremely low temperature fermentations for food production” is implemented under the "ARISTEIA II" Action of the "OPERATIONAL PROGRAMME EDUCATION AND LIFELONG LEARNING" and is co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and National Resources.

Detailed information about the position is outlined below:
Position description: Postdoctoral researcher
Deliverables: Participation in the realization of the experimental part of the Work Packages 2-8, organization outcomes, deliverables writing, record keeping and dissemination Work Package 9, as provided in the research proposal.
Contract Duration: Starting date March 01, 2015, ending July 31, 2015.
Budgeted total cost: 12.300 € (gross)

7 Participation in publications in international research journals (with reviewers) related to probiotic foods and dairy products

Evaluation procedure
The above mentioned qualifications will be graded by an evaluation committee coordinated by Prof. Maria Kanellaki. Candidates may be invited for an interview (in person or by Skype), if deemed necessary. The selected candidate will be notified personally regarding the success of his/her application and will be requested to submit certified copies of his/her degrees.
This publication confers the right to submit an objection to the results within 3 working days of posting of the evaluation results.
