As a postdoc in the department of Experimental Toxicology and Ecology you will address the safety of nanomaterials along their life-cycle. You will develop and validate methods and concepts to assess the potential risks to humans by nanomaterials. This includes in-vitro studies with cell- and tissue cultures as well as modelling and designing testing batteries. Furthermore, you will collaborate in international projects with external partners.

Qualification

You have successfully completed your PhD studies in the field of life sciences, chemistry, physics or medicine. Besides your experiences in the field of material science and nanotechnology you possess profound knowledge in nanotoxicology. Furthermore, you already gained experiences in methods and techniques of experimental toxicology, biokinetics, regulatory toxicology and risk assessment. Additionally, your English language skills allow you to communicate in a proficient way. The willingness to learn German would be a plus. A high motivation, a self-reliant work style as well as the ability to work in a team complete your profile.
