Postdoc Position for Stem Cell Microdevice Project

A postdoctoral position in interdisciplinary research on stem cell microdevices is available immediately at Houston Methodist Research Institute, Houston, Texas. The institute is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.

A PhD degree in Biology is required. The candidate will participate in interdisciplinary research on one or both of the following projects: 1) microfluidic device development for drug screening on stem cells; 2) Technique development for stem cell culture using nano-materials. The candidate is expected to have strong experience in mammalian cell culture, especially stem cell culture; rodent animal experiments, including tissue dissection and immunohistochemistry. The candidate is also expected work collaboratively with engineer PhDs on the interdisciplinary projects.
