PhD Studentship - Functional polymeric nanostructures

PhD Studentship

Dr Rachel O’Reilly

PhD project:     Functional polymeric nanostructures

Supervisors:  Dr Rachel O’Reilly

Project description:

A PhD studentship is available from October 2012 in the group led by Dr Rachel O'Reilly studying the synthesis of well-defined polymers using living polymerisations (including RAFT and ROP) and templating methods. The project will involve small molecule and polymer synthesis as well as extensive polymer and material characterisation.

Requirements:

Applicants should have (or be about to receive) an honours degree (at least II.1 or equivalent and a Master’s degree is preferred) in chemistry, or other relevant discipline, and should have experience with organic and/or polymer synthesis and characterization. This studentship is only provides funding for UK/EU students.

How to apply:

Please see the O’Reilly group website for more details http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/chemistry/research/oreilly
