The collaborative research center  TRR 146:

*Multiscale simulation methods for soft matter systems*,

funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and hosted by the *Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz*, the *Technical University Darmstadt*, and the *Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research* (Mainz) invites applications for:

 *2 PhD positions*
 *3 Postdoc positions*
 *1 junior group leader position*

starting October 1, 2014 or soon after, until positions are filled.

The center provides a stimulating research environment bringing together physicists, chemists, mathematicians, and computer scientists with a complementary expertise in a wide range of modeling methods. The initiative aims to tackle some of the most pressing problems in multiscale modeling of soft matter systems through a massive interdisciplinary effort at the level of fundamental science and algorithmic development.  Application instructions and further information on the available positions can be found at http://trr146.de.

The participating institutions are keen to increase the number of women among its employees and thus encourages women to apply. Disabled persons will be given preference if equally qualified.
