PhD in modeling of materials for electrochemical batteries

Two PhD positions in the field of ab initio modeling of materials for electrochemical batteries are available in the group of Sergei Manzhos at the National  University of Singapore, Department of Mechanical Engineering. The research focus is on post-lithium batteries (i.e. Na, Mg, and Al ion batteries) and organic batteries. The projects will be done in close collaboration with experimental labs.
The candidates should have abilities and interest in computer simulations, including ability to use multiple codes and some programming ability. Flawless English is required.
