PhD (f/m) Microelectronics Bordeaux

The Nanoelectronics group in the IMS Laboratory performs research and development primarily in the area of modeling of integrated electronic devices, including SiGe-based, InP and Carbon technologies. The laboratory is working in a multidisciplinary environment, spanning materials, process technology, circuits, and systems. The IMS is housed in a state-of-the-art building 10 minutes from Bordeaux downtown, with ultra-modern facilities. The institute’s innovations are in worldwide demand. The successful candidate (f/m) has a diploma or master degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics and will be highly motivated with good experimental and theoretical skills. Experience in semiconductor technology and in one or more of the following fields would be an advantage: measurements for electrical characterization, device simulation, compact modeling, RF integrated circuit design. Very good oral and written skills in English are mandatory. Basic French language skills are desirable.
