Call for PhD and postdoctoral positions at Amrita Centre for Nanoscience and Molecular Medicine

Amrita Center for Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM) is a premier research and educational institution in the area of nano-biotechnology and molecular medicine. ACNSMM is located on Amrita's healthcare campus at Cochin that also has the School of Medicine. Recognizing ACNMMs excellence in nano-bio research field, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India recently selected this centre as `Thematic unit of Excellence in Medical bio-nanotechnology and Tissue engineering’ for the  next five years. The areas of research include regenerative nanomedicine, tissue engineering, cancer nanomedicine and molecular medicine. In addition, department of biotechnology, Govt. of India also funded a major grant to ACNSMM for conducting research in the area of nanotoxicology.

The centre is currently recruiting outstanding researchers having CSIR/ICMR/INSPIRE/DST/DBT/UGC-NET fellowships for doing PhD program in the above mentioned areas of research.  Applications are also invited for post doctoral positions in the same areas of research. Post doctoral fellowship will be supported by the above mentioned projects.

Eligibility for PhD: Masters (MSc/MTech) in Biotechnology/biochemistry/genetics/bioinformatics/Nanotechnology from any UGC recognized university in India or abroad

For Post doctoral fellowship: PhD with a thesis experience in a related area.
