The Director of the EU Future Emerging Technology Flagship on Graphene will give one of the introductory lectures
After Andrea Ferrari, one of the world’s biggest experts in graphene field, who presented his research at the 2012 edition, NanotechItaly continues its ‘tradition’ having as a guest Jari Kinaret, Director of the EU Future Emerging Technology Flagship on Graphene.
The mission of the Flagship is to take graphene and related layered materials from academic laboratories to society: that could revolutionize multiple industries, also creating economic growth and new jobs.
The use of this new material gives rise to a number of questions: which areas of the world will be the first to be ready for mass production of graphene? Will the unit price of graphene have a significant reduction, or not, like other carbon derived products? In which sector will there be the biggest development index for graphene? Will the public see the graphene as a positive revolution, or not (like GMOs)?
To know the answers, we will be waiting for you at NanotechItaly 2013!
