Nanomedicine Summer School 2013

1–5 July 2013: University of Oxford

We are pleased to announce that the theme of the fifth annual Nanotechnology Summer School in 2013 is nanotechnologies for medicine and healthcare.

This five-day course provides an introduction to the exciting and emerging field of nanomedicine. Each of the five days of the Nanomedicine Summer School has a dedicated theme and delegates can enrol for one day, more than one day or for the whole week. Academic credit is also available and anyone attending all five days of the Summer School can apply to take this as a module for credit at postgraduate level.

Programme:

  • 1 July 2013: Introduction to Nanomedicine: Challenges and Opportunities
  • 2 July 2013: Nanotechnologies for Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering
  • 3 July 2013: Nano-diagnostics
  • 4 July 2013: Nano-biosensors
  • 5 July 2013: Nano-pharmaceuticals


The course will take place at the University of Oxford's Department for Continuing Education and includes social activities and networking opportunities.
