Scanning Probe Microscopy week:

Welcome

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Dr. András Paszternák, founder of Nanopaprika

The International NanoScience Community is official media partner of NanoBio-Europe 2009.

NanoBio-Europe'09, the International Conference on Nanobiotechnology in Europe, will be held on June 16-18, 2009 in Grenoble/France to present the most recent international developments in nanobiotech and nanomedicine.

NanoBio-Europe'09 provides a platform for interdisciplinary communication, new international cooperation and joint projects to participants from science and industry. The sessions will cover topics like:

* Nanobiotech for cell and molecular biology
* Nano-enabled drug targeting and delivery
* Imaging
* Toxicology of nano-objects
* Regulatory issues

The event will include joint plenary sessions with invited keynote lectures and contributed papers, posters exhibition, industrial exhibition, gala dinner, and technical visits.

Prizes for the best poster and for the best presentation by a young scientist will be awarded.

More than 250 participants are expected from Europe, Asia and Northern America.

The venue of the conference is the European premier innovation campus MiNaTec in Grenoble. Grenoble is a high-tech city, French capital of micro- and nanotechnology including nanobiotechnology, with wonderful surroundings in the heart of the Alps… especially in June!
