Tasks:
* Assistance in the preparation of AFM and ESEM suitable model samples of customized systems based on wollastonite, ettringite, mullite and apatite
* Measurements of rheology on the micro- and nano-scale by techniques of atomic force microscopy and spectroscopy (AFM) of fluids in contact with the materials mentioned above
* Measuring the adhesion between polymers and mineral surfaces (FDC)
* ESEM / EDX studies on the early formation of crystals interacting with polymers
* If necessary, dielectric spectroscopy experiments on the mobility of ions and polymers
* Joint publication of research results in peer reviewed journals
Profile of requirements:
* University degree (Diploma / Master) specializing in chemistry, physics, mineralogy or geosciences (knowledge in physical chemistry of solid/liquid interaction is advantageous)
* Experience in the construction of experimental equipment and its control
* Basic knowledge of German is advantageous, good command of English (written) are required
* Good self-organization and interdisciplinary thinking are essential to complete the task
