Dear Colleague !

It is my great pleasure to invite you attend the 'Micro-Nano Bio Systems:
Optimal Design for Smart System Integration' tutorial,
which will take place during the 2nd International Conference and
Exhibition on Biosensors & Bioelectronics,
June 17-19, 2013 Hilton Chicago/Northbrook, USA.

Abstract

Micro-Nano Bio Systems (MNBS) - are smart systems combining microsensing
and micoactuation, microelectronics, nano-materials,
molecular biology, biochemistry, measurement technology and ICT. This
tutorial describes modern developments and trends in the
field of smart sensor systems and digital sensors design and focused on
both: microelectronics and measurement technology,
which are based on a novel, advanced design approach in which a frequency
(time)-to-digital conversion is used in comparison
with a traditional analog-to-digital conversion. Such design approach opens
a wide opportunity for the future Micro-Nano Bio
Systems below 100 nm with high metrological performance. Different examples
of sensors systems will be given and discussed in
details. The proposed approach also very suitable for design of various
quartz crystal microbalance, photonic sensors systems
and is compatible with Bio-MEMS, system-on-chip (SoC) and system-in-package
(SiP) implementations.

This tutorial is suitable for engineers and researchers who design and
investigate various digital and smart biosensors, data
acquisition, and measurement systems. It should be also useful for graduate
and post graduate students.
