Who can apply?

In order to be eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:
a) Holders of the degree of Licenciado or legal equivalent, in the field or in related fields of study;
b) Holders of a foreign higher education academic degree conferred following a 1st Cycle of studies in the field, or in related fields, organised according to the principles of the Bologna Process by a State that has adhered to this Process;
c) Holders of a foreign higher education academic degree that is recognised as satisfying the goals of a degree in the field, or in related areas, by the Scientific
Council of the Faculty.
d) Holders of a scientific and professional curriculum relevant to the frequency of this cycle of study, duly justified, and recognized by the Scientific Council of the
Faculty.

Candidates must have a basic knowledge of written and spoken English.

How are applicants selected?

In order to fill the vacancies, all admitted candidates shall be ranked according to the criteria set out in 'Regulamento Geral dos Mestrados', which takes into account the specific training in the scientific field of the course, the final grade of the degree and the academic, scientific and professional curriculum. The evaluation of a possible interview may also be included if the jury so decides.

When due to non-registration or cancellation within the period of enrollment or in a period that allows the replacement, candidates not placed due to lack of vacancy will be invited to occupy the remaining vacancies.

What is the financial investment?

There is an application fee (€20,00) and another one for enrolment (€20,00), if the applicant is placed (It includes student insurance).

Annual Tuition fee:
- EU: €1.500,00/Year for applicants with citizenship from European Union (EU)
- Non-EU: €4.000,00/Year.

The best 10 Non-EU/EEA applicants enrolled at the end of all calls will have an annual reduction of 50% in the tuition fee. Therefore they will pay €2.000,00/Year.

According to the "Regulamento de Propinas" in force, the fee may be paid entirely upon enrolment or in 10 instalments, to be paid at the end of each month, With enrollment is charged the first installment of tuition fees, to be paid within the time specified.

Which documents do I need to submit?

Required documents (in PDF format):
a) Motivation letter in English;
b) Copy of the Identity Card/ Citizen Card/Passport (only for non-portuguese citizens);
c) Curriculum vitae preferably in the Europass format;
d) Copy of the diploma and transcripts of completed courses and grades (when applicable it should be sent copies of the originals and authenticated translations of the documents into English);
e) Other documents that the candidate deems useful to demonstrate their qualifications and curriculum;
f) Two recommendation letters;
