Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project titled “Design of Highly Efficient Nanostructured Non Precious Electro-catalysts for Hydrogen Production using Alkaline Water Electrolysis”.

Eligibility:M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Material Science/ Nanoscience and Technology or equivalent or, M. Tech. in Materials Science/Nanotechnology/Engineering chemistry or equivalent with minimum of 60% marks. NET/GATE qualified candidate will be preferred.

Fellowship:
For CSIR-NET, GATE candidates and M.Tech Postgraduates: Rs. 25,000 + 20% HRA,For others: Rs. 16,000 + 20% HRA

Tenure of the fellowship: 3 Years

Registration for Ph.D: Selected candidate shall register for full time Ph.D. programme at SRM University, Kattankulathur, Chennai.

Travel Allowance: Second class sleeper return train fare by the shortest route.
