Nanobiotechnology:

Nanobiotechnology is a rapidly developing field, which includes a diverse collection of disciplines. The applications of nanotechnology are gaining overwhelming response in almost all the fields. Especially in healthcare sector, tremendous developments have been achieved. For example, cancer diagnosis and therapy, medical implants, tissue engineering etc. In the coming years, the developments in this field are expected to flourish and lead to several life saving medical technologies and treatment methods. This course, aimed at being a forum to gain insight into the recent developments in the field of nanobiotechnology has been designed to foster and to get the participants fundamental knowhow’s and to expertise them with the advanced topics thereon. It is a unique opportunity for students and researchers to update their knowledge in this emerging field which could motivate new discoveries that would transform the field. Specifically the course will focus on the following areas:

  • Synthesis and Characterisation of Nanomaterials by Various Methodologies
  • Heath care engineering
  • Cancer nanotechnology
  • Affordable medical devices
  • Translational nanomedicine
  • Nanostructured Biomaterials
  • Biomedical Nanotechnology
  • Nanotechnology in Tissue Engineering
  • Cytotoxicity and Genotoxicity of Nanomaterials

Participants will attend lectures and acquire technical inputs from the leading academicians, which will enable the participants to design their research projects in the area of nanobiotechnology. Participants will also get hands on training on synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials and suggested tips of how to analyze the research data.
