You are cordially invited to participate in Keysight Technologies' first European-wide in-situ EC with AFM & STM meeting! This unique two-day gathering will be hosted by The University of Liverpool in the UK. We are delighted to announce as invited keynote speakers:

  • Prof. Richard Nichols, University of Liverpool, UK - "Single molecule electronics and electrochemistry with an STM"
  • Dr. Christine Kranz, University of Ulm, Germany - "Combined atomic force - scanning electrochemical microscopy (AFM-SECM): The benefits from both worlds"
  • Dr. Slawomir Sęk, Warsaw University, Poland - "Electrochemical Scanning Probe Microscopy Studies of Supported Lipid Films and Their Interactions with Antimicrobial Peptides"
  • Dr. Manfred Buck, University of St Andrews, UK - "Molecular self-assembly and electrochemistry: perspectives for the nanoscale"

This event in Liverpool next February is intended to provide an opportunity for you to meet fellow users and discuss recent research with experts in their field from all over Europe, as well as to learn about novel developments and applications in a pleasant, informal environment.

A poster session will complement the oral presentations in order to inspire further in-depth discussions. In addition, there will be a Q&A session and instrument demonstrations from Keysight application scientists.

Complete program details will be provided in the near future, but a proposed agenda for the day is outlined below. Please submit abstracts for a talk and/or a poster to rhys_jones@keysight.com. Please also direct any questions you may have to Rhys as well either by email or phone on +447770 820208.

The city of Liverpool is well connected with good transport links from both Liverpool and Manchester international airports, as well as being only 2 hours on the train from London. A hotel recommendation and travel guide will be sent out shortly.
