Dear Nanopaprika-Members,
First I would like to thank for all contribution (informations, blogposts, job and event sharings) during 2014 and wish happy and successful year in your professional and private life for 2015.
8032 members, 6775 blog posts, 719 discussions, 434 events – these are just numbers, and I know there are plenty of other more “serious” nanotechnology sites. I believe that small professional networks (like Nanopaprika) can bring the opportunity to create bonds on a personal level between scientists and students. Based on your feedbacks thanks to our scientific social network, several students have found PhD and postdoctoral positions and got information about new nanotech developments. Senior researchers have met talented students; shared news about their results and found new collaboration partners. The International NanoScience Community is like an open source to connect nano addicted people and share the latest news in our scientific field.
Nanopaprika provides free service for more than 6900 members registered until 3rd January 2014 and a service for symbolic fee for members signed up during the last year. All fees and incomes from advertisements help us to run the page, open the nanotechnology world for researchers and students from Asia, Europe, America and Africa. Special thanks for the companies and academic institutes advertising years long on our platform: Plasmachem, American Elements, Izon, University of Madeira, Lumiprobe, Nitcharacter, Royal Society of Chemistry, Nanosight, MinusK, Thermo Scientific, OCSiAl, River Publishers, Nanoimmunotech and Cordouan Technologies. Support of our strategic partners – Nano Digest Magazine (India), UnderstandingNano and Nanotechnology Now - brought to the page new visitors and members.
Big thanks to our staff - co-editor Barbara and company head Tamás - for the support.
The door is open for everybody; invite your colleagues and students. Any nanotech news, information is welcome. A scientific social network is like a LEGO game, everybody can bring their bricks.
Happy New Year
