The candidate will provide his/her proven experience for the preparation of cross-section and plane-view samples via conventional polishing and ion milling, as well as ultramicrotome cutting techniques. Furthermore, he or she will be involved in the development of preparation techniques for in-situ microscopy studies. The candidate should further participate in standard service TEM and SEM measurements and will be responsible for maintaining the equipment of our sample preparation lab. Good mechanical skills are a requirement.

Requests:

Profound knowledge in Material Science/Chemistry/Physics (master degree or equivalent).
Good communication skills in English. Experience with FIB would be helpful.
