Within our Nikon Instruments Europe Headquarters, a vacancy has arisen in our European Product Support Group (PSG) for a seasoned and entrepreneurial European Product Specialist to join the team. The aim of the PSG team, in cooperation with the Pan-European Research Specialist Core Team (R-SCT), is to play a key role in proactively coordinating the microscopy information flow across Europe concerning technical know-how and applications, including customer insight & commercial win-loss experiences.

Specifically, in this role, the successful candidate will be an ambassador for the Pan-European PSG team’s initiatives and strategic objectives, through providing a commercially focussed support programme that facilitates multiple communication channels, underpins the company’s business model and adequately supports the local business units in each country to achieve net sales targets.

You will have demonstrated:

• working with microscopes, either in a sales role or product support role
• providing proactive and high quality customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• managing a seamless process of knowledge sharing and training on all microscopy products.
• facilitating feedback between local countries and a global headquarters concerning future microscopy designs.

We are seeking a commercially-minded team player who is positive, bright and ready to take ownership and accountability for the product management of the assigned microscope portfolio. Furthermore, you should be able to utilise your scientific knowledge to go the extra mile to provide client-focussed solutions that add value and contribute to the efforts of the research community.
