A fizikus számára a parányi, nanométeres hosszúság-skálán a fizika, kémia, anyagtudomány és biológia egybemosódnak: paradox módon a világ kitágul, sokkal színesebb, sokkal érdekesebb lesz. Az előadó ebből a világból ad ízelítőt, saját kutatásaira támaszkodva, bemutatva azt az utat, ami a nanostruktúrás anyagok előállításától az alaptudományos kísérleteken át az alkalmazásokig vezet.
