The deadline for abstract submission to this year's Advanced Summer School Interrogations at the Biointerface: The Nano/Medicine interface  is only two weeks away!!

The Summer School will happen between 29 of June and 3 of July, in Porto, and it includes hands-on sessions (limited availability) and lectures with speakers from different fields, bringing closer immunologists, cell biologists, medical doctors and biomaterial scientists. 

Hands-on sessions: 
Lab Session A1. Monitoring drug treatment efficiency using whole animal live imaging 
Lab Session A2. High Content Imaging & Analysis to evaluate phagocytic capacity 
Lab Session B: Assessment of anti-inflammatory nanoparticles internalization in a pro-inflammatory/ degenerative bovine intervertebral disc organ culture 
Lab Session C: Nanodrugs delivery and anti-tumoral effects on cancer cells: a time-lapse microscopy approach to monitor biological events

This year course will have duration of four days, with lectures being held during the first three days (29th June to 1stJuly) and lab sessions during the last day (3rd July). The 2nd of July will be intercalated with another symposium that INEB is organizing: “SICR-The First Symposium on Immunomodulation in Cancer and Regeneration” (www.SICR2015.ineb.up.pt.). Summer School full course participants are invited to participate in this Symposium free of charge. Participation requires however registration.
