B.E / B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering / Technology

Eligibility:

For Diploma: Candidates should have passed Class 10 or school secondary level examination with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognized board of examination.

For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from any of the recognised board of examination.

For PG Diploma: Candidates must have three year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects for Plastics Processing & Testing discipline or 3 year Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent for Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM.

For M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical, Plastics Engineering / Technology / Polymer / Chemical (or) M.Sc., in Polymer Chemistry / Polymer Science / Physics / Chemistry.

Selection Procedure:

CIPET programs- based on academic record and performance in the Joint Entrance Examination.

For PG programs- selection through respective affiliating University norms / through CIPET JEE.

For UG programs- selection through respective affiliating University as per their norms.

Fee structure:
M.Tech: Rs 22,000 per semester
PGD-PPT: Rs 16,500 per semester
PD-PMD with CAD/CAM: Rs 16,500 per semester
DPMT: Rs 13,750 per semester
DPT: Rs 13,750 per semester

Application form and prospectus can be downloaded from the official website of Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology or obtained from any of CIPET Centres against payment of Rs. 100 for general candidates and Rs. 25 for SC/ST candidates in cash or demand draft, drawn in favour of "CIPET" payable at Chennai.

Attested photocopies of entry qualification (X / XII standard / Diploma / Degree Certificates)
Valid GATE score certificate (if available for M.Tech. program).
Attested Community Certificates (for SC, ST, OBC (NCL) candidates).
Residential proof for North Eastern state candidates (if applicable)
