This sessions will specifically focus on: the investigation of living cells and the advantages of using AFM simultaneously with advanced light microscopy, exploration of cells’ and other biological samples mechanical properties at the nanoscale, including opportunities for adhesion, deformation, dissipation or elasticity at a high resolution and in a quantitative manner, and finally how high-speed AFM can enable new information on biological samples through understanding both dynamics and statistics.
