Bioconjugation Project Manager - Zaragoza (Spain)

NANOIMMUNOTECH, an awarded Nanobiotechnology startup, with a promising strategic plan, and proprietary technology, located in Vigo and Zaragoza (Spain), is looking for a Bioconjugation Project Manager for their facilities in Zaragoza.

This is an exciting opportunity in our research laboratory.

You will be in charge of a team that is developing novel bioconjugation technologies for creating biomolecules/particles/drugs… conjugates.

You will plan, design and perform research on our main bioconjugation project and the new projects that will come.

You will probably have a biochemistry PhD (or related Chemistry or Biology field; or an equivalent combination of education/experience), with 2-5 year’s experience in a chemistry postdoctoral research-related occupation (industrial environment will be a plus).

You will have knowledge of chemistry, bioconjugation, surface immobilization, chemical modification of biomolecules, development of immunoreagents and/or nanoparticle-based assays, and particle characterization.

Experience in the final applications of the conjugates (immunochemistry, blotting, flow cytometry, ELISA, biosensing…) will be a plus. Knowledge of labeling techniques is highly desirable.

Hands-on attitude and an innovative approach to problem solving.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams are essential.

Creative and energetic chemist who can work in a multidisciplinary environment using chemical approaches to design and develop chemistry and conjugation methods.

Excellent written and oral communication skills will complete the profile.

An eagerness to develop new technologies and the confidence to operate outside your comfort zone will be essential qualities.

You must also show a high level of initiative and commitment.
