Spectroscopy
According to the well-established tradition, every 5^th year a Workshop
on Mössbauer Spectroscopy will be held in Germany. The first Seeheim
Workshop on Mössbauer Spectroscopy was held in 1978.
The series of workshops on the applications of the Mössbauer
spectroscopy nowadays will be organized in Frankfurt, Germany under the
auspices of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Technische
Universität Darmstadt and the University of Mainz.
The 7^th Workshop on Mössbauer Spectroscopy will take place from June 13
to June 17, 2011. The workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn Frankfurt
City – South, Conference Centre in Frankfurt, Germany. As always, the
all overall aim of the workshop is to bring together the scientists in
the field of Mössbauer spectroscopy. Mössbauer spectroscopists from
around the world are encouraged to attend the workshop. We invite you to
join us in making this, the 7^th Seeheim Workshop on Mössbauer
Spectroscopy, a memorable event. As listed below, the forthcoming 7^th
Workshop will focus on applications of Mössbauer spectroscopy in a range
of disciplines, with the latest developments presented and discussed:

· Materials science and metallurgy
· Amorphous and nanophase materials
· Surfaces, interfaces, thin films, multilayers
