Our vibration isolation platforms, available in multiple frequency ranges, are ideal for sensitive instrumentation and imaging systems that are susceptible to vibration in their surroundings. Since they do not require any electrical hook ups or air connections, the user-friendly platforms are easily portable and maintenance free. Optical breadboards can be placed onto the top plate to increase the surface area or to create a more customized mounting environment. .

Bench Tops

The BM-1 or BM-4 low frequency platforms eliminate even the lowest frequency vibrations making them ideal for table top SEMs, micro hardness testers, interferometers and optical profilers. The BM-8 or BM-10 low profile bench top isolators have a slightly higher horizontal frequency for instruments that are not as susceptible to horizontal vibrations, making them ideal for AFMs.

The low frequency platforms provide vibration isolation performance better than that of an idealized air table The lightweight, low-profile design is integrated easily into labs, production environments, or capital equipment.

Workstations

The Minus K WS-4 is a BM-1 isolator on a compact workstation stand to allow the high performance in a small space. This is very helpful for labs with space limitations. For larger workstations, Minus K has partnered with Kinetic Systems to offer the MK26 workstation and now the MK52 optical table. Kinetic systems manufactures the table top, legs and accessories with the Minus K negative Stiffness vibration isolators mounted inside these systems. Standard workstation sizes are 2 1/2' x 3' and 3' x 4' with optical table from 3' x 5' to 5' x 8'.

The MK26 Series offers the ultimate performance for a wide range of instruments, such as analytical balances, cell injection, confocal microscopes, patch clamping, optical microscopes, wafer probing, sensor calibration atomic force microscopes and other sensitive equipment in fields such as semiconductor processing, telecommunications, aerospace engineering, and medical research. While the MK52 Series is the premier choice for large applications requiring high resolution such as: Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), AFM-Raman integration, and micro hardness testing.
