The Maastricht University is searching for post-docs and PhD candidates for its Nanoscopy division of the Multimodal Molecular Imaging institute (M4I).
Overall Purpose of the Job
Post-doc candidates will bring in expertise in at least one of the individual steps of the workflow. In particular, candidates with expertise in cryo-electron tomography, subtomogram averaging and single particle analysis are encouraged to apply. Experienced PhD candidates in adjacent disciplines could also apply.
Requirements
The successful candidates hold a master degree (PhD candidates) or PhD (post-doc candidates) in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, biophysics or related fields. Strong written and oral communication skills as well as a demonstrated affinity with high-end equipment and/or computation are required. Candidates should be fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is not required.
