PhD Position Lab-on-Chip Technology - ETH Zürich

Two PhD positions in the field of Lab-on-Chip Technology are available from January 1st, 2009, at the ETH Zurich. Lab-on-Chip Technology is an emerging field in bioanalytical and chemical research, opening novel and exciting opportunities for biological and medical applications. The goals within the project are the formation of simple cell models and sensors by means of micro- and nanotechnologies. The combination of biological and technological issues is a central aspect of the project. A possible candidate should have strong disposition to learn and improve novel methods, and should be very open to different research disciplines. We offer the successful candidates an intellectually challenging position in the inspiring atmosphere of an interdisciplinary team, and the prospect to obtain a PhD degree from ETH Zurich. Advanced training in different fields and participation at international conferences is highly encouraged. Please send your application with a letter describing!

your background and interests, the CV, the contact addresses of two academic references and copies of certificates to: Prof. P.S.Dittrich, ETH Zurich, Wolfgang-Pauli-Str. 10, HCI E 313, CH-8093 Zurich/Switzerland. e-Mail: dittrich@org.chem.ethz.ch

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
