Postdoc position (for 2 years), Frankfurt am Main, Germany

In the group of Prof. Dr. Walter Hofstetter a post-doc position will be available from January 1st, 2009 for 2 years (salary level BAT IIa).

The ideal candidate is expected to have a PhD degree in theoretical solid state physics. Research experience in the fields of ultracold atoms, strongly correlated electrons or transport in electronic nanostructures would be beneficial. The successful candidate should have the capability to work independently and show dedication to the teaching responsibilities associated with the position.

In the summer of 2005, Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University was awarded the basic certificate of the audit Family-Friendly University.
