A one-year contract as a postdoc associate is available to immediate starting in the group of Mario Barbatti in the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.

The aim of the project is to integrate of atomistic and mesoscopic simulations for development of organic photodevices. The postdoc co-worker will be responsible for the development of methods for atomistic computation of parameters and for the implementation of mesoscopic device models. He or she is supposed to have strong background in physics and computational chemistry. During the project, this person will build up expertise in computational chemistry of large organic complexes and classical electrodynamics simulations.
