Abstract. There is a great deal of interest in finding new synthetic routes to prepare nanocrystallites.
This paper reports in situ preparation of CdSe nanoparticles using poly (vinyl
alcohol) [PVA] as matrix by using chemical route. XRD analysis revealed that CdSe-PVA
nano- composite with a small size and narrow size distribution were obtained. The XRD
studies show the formation of hexagonal CdSe/PVA particles with an average size of 11nm.
Photoluminescence properties of CdSe/PVA with varying polymer concentration are reported.
The PL peak was observed at 510 nm in photoluminescence spectrum.

I am so happy to be a member in your group. I am interesting to know more about nanotechnology. I want to know more about it. I am a prof. in algae and i want to do my research in the future in this field. I will be great full if you can help me as a beginner in this field and tell me How can I begin? Thanks a lot

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
