post-doc opening in nanopolymeric drug delivery systems

I have a post-doc opening in my lab in polymeric drug delivery systems. The project is focused on developing novel multifunctional dendrimer-drug conjugates for prostate cancer. Further the successful candidate is expected to work in multiple projects including novel protein nanoparticles. The ideal candidate should have the following

PhD in polymer science/drug delivery systems/chemical engineering

Background in polymer drug conjugation

Background in characterization of drug-polymer drug conjugates and nanoparticles

Preferred but not a must:

Experience with dendrimers

Experience in in-vitro cell culture studies

Experience in protein PEGylation

The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment in the translatoinal cancer center at South Dakota State University along with biologists, chemists, pharmacologists and clinician scientists. The position offers an attractive salary.

Further the candidate may have opportunities to work in the investigator's start-up company Tranzderm solutions (

please help secure a short training (around there) in Nanomedicine with emphasis on Nano-encapsulation as it relates to therapeutics, drug delivery and diagnostics of infectious diseases. Skills and expertise of these Techniques will enhance and add more value to my schedule, in Teaching and research at faculty of Pharmacy, back here in Nigeria’s Premier University. I will be grateful, if my application is given prompt attention and due consideration. Yours faithfully, OYEDIRAN Oyewale Akanfe Faculty of Pharmacy University of ibadan Nigeria

Dear Sir,

I have completed my PhD degree from IIT Kharagpur. The title of my thesis is "Thermoplastic Polyurethane-Modified Laponite Clay Nanocomposites". I have also one year experience in ''Organic Synthesis'' and the work has been published in Tetrahedron Letter.

At present I am a Post Doctoral Researcher at South Korea and working on polymer-nanocomposites membrane for Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) application.

but i am still a doctorate student and my thesis is upon polymeric nanoparticles as drug delivery systems

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at
