TEM Analysis of an Metal Oxide Nanocrystal

Does anyone help me to find out the best Dispersion Solvent for TEM Analysis of  metal Oxide nano crystals. When i work with Ethanol it forms a network but with Acetone oxide layer forms. What i want to know is there any polymer or such solvents which will help me to get a well dispersed pattern of my powder sample.

research position in theoretical condensed matter physics at the Institute of Physics (Hungary)

Applications are invited for a research position in theoretical condensed matter physics at the

Institute of Physics, Eotvos University, Budapest, Hungary.

The successful candidate will theoretically investigate electronic properties of carbon-based (nanotube and graphene) solid-state systems for quantum information processing. Further possible research fields are: (1) coupling of electron spins (spin qubits) to nanomechanical systems, and the use of those in quantum information… Continue

Scattering analysis of supramolecular nanoparticle formation through electrostatic self-assembly (Erlangen, Germany + Grenoble, France)

Versatile architectures and functions in natural systems are realized through self-assembled, supramolecular nanostructures. It is thus highly desirable to develop new concepts for self-assembly, in particular for a targeted structural design and to exploit the large potential in applications ranging from medicine to nanoelectronics. To do this, it is essential to under-stand structure formation.

The goal of this project is to elucidate the structure formation mechanisms in the… Continue

Welcome

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
