CIGS thin film based solar cell is hot research topic these days

Posted on August 31, 2008 at 10:58am 0 Comments

Hello Friends,

CIGS thin film based solar cell is hot research topic these days.

Let me give some introduction about CIGS before starting discussion.

CIGS stands for Cu(In,Ga)Se2 which acts as absorber layer and CdS can be used as buffer layer in this solar cell. The layered cell structure is ZnO/CdS/CIGS/Mo/soda-lime glass or flexible substrate. CIGS solar cell with record 19.9% total-area efficiency demonstrated at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and is a… Continue

Dear Dr. dhage,
thanks for the invitation. Actually I started this topic very recently. so I'm a child in this field. actually I am interested on nanoparticle CIGS, hope to get some valuable hits from you.
thanks

Dear Sanjay
surely i will send information to the community. eventhough i m not working on solar cell in near future i m going to shift. Most probably I will try to use conducting polymer in this research.

Hello Dr. Dhage,

If I am not wrong, u r from NCL, Pune. How r u? U r interested in energy materials. I also want to change my field to such...like photovoltaic materials...
good luck

Welcome

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
