Dr. Roman Viter represents a multydisciplinary research group from Odessa National I.I. Mechnikov University.
The group consists of 2 professors and 5 Senior researchers (PhD holders) from Faculties of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, 2 Postdoc, 4 PhD and 5 MS students.
The group is experienced in:
-fabrication of metal oxide nanoparticles/nanostructures (ZnO, Al2O3, TiO2, ect);
-fabrication of new coordinative and supramolecular compounds of Co(II, III), Cu(II), Zn (II);
-fabrication of hybrid inorganic-organic nanostructured components;
-functionalization of inorganic nanoparticles with organic compounds;
-investigation of electrical, structural, sensitive optical properties of nanostructures;
-molecular design of bioactive nanomaterials
-investigation of bioactivity of nanomaterials and pharmacological properties of derivative vitamins;
-research of biochemical processes that are the basis of cancer;
-application of nanomaterials and hybrid nanostructures for biosensor/sensor purposes.
-collaboration in research and application of nanomaterials for bio- and medical purposes;
-participation in research projects;
