Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

Synthesis of novel catalytic materials and their characterization: influence of preparation parameters on the properties of catalysts; structural and textural characterization of catalysts; application of different spectral techniques for surface and bulk analysis; structure-property relationship in catalysis.

2. Developing in-situ spectroscopic characterization techniques.

3. Development of novel organic-inorganic hybrid materials for gas storage applications.

4. Heterogeneous catalysis: Selection and design of catalysts for different applications: The role of metal, support and promoters.

5. Catalysis: Vapor phase reactions (alkylation, dehydration and oxidative dehydrogenation reactions). Liquid phase reactions (acylation, alkylation, condensation). Photocatalysis.

6. Synthesis, characterization and catalytic activity of mesoporous MCM-41,
MCM-48, SBA-1, SBA-15 and KIT-6 materials.
