Help with dispersing and particles

Customers contact me every day regarding how to use a sonicator to disperse or deagglomerate their nanoparticles.  When used properly the sonicator works very well for most applications.  I have written a brief summary with advice on common problems such as how deep to insert a probe into the liquid and what shape and size vessel works best.  I did a recent presentation and the audience found it very helpful.  Please review the PDF:…See More

Help with dispersing particlesAttached is a link with adivice on how to imporve results when using a sonicator to disperse and deagglomerate nanoparticles.  I used it during a recent presentation and the customers thought it was very helpful. Most people do not know that the shape and size of the beaker or vessel as well as the depth of the tip are very important details to address during sonication.See More

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
