Welcome

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Supercapacitors, batteries and Fuel

Posted on February 5, 2010 at 4:42pm 0 Comments

Dear Nanotech editors and members,

I saw all the groups of the members, But, I did not see any group on the application of nantechnology on materials for the energy storage and conversion devices especially in Supercapacitors, batteries and Fuel cells. As we all know these areas are also among the main beneficiers of the nanotechnology.

So, let us think over it and let us have discussion also on this timely…

There is Plenty of Room at the Bottom

Dear Nanotech people,

This is a the golden idea which was said by Richard Feynman, December 29th 1959, and here below is his full idea.

/What I want to talk is about the problem of manipulating and controlling things on a small scale. As soon as I mention this, people tell about miniaturization, and how far it has progressed today. They tell me about electric motors that are the size of nail on your small finger. And there is a device on the market, they tell me, by which… Continue

hello sir,

I am a student of biotechnology,

was a little late to read ur update about the MIT research on bioengineered bacterial virus powered battery...

i tried for power from serial homemade wine samples, which worked.but that was just a simple electrochemistry work..but to work on something more extensive has seriously been my wish...

i am looking for my short term dissertation project at institutes working on similar lines...but its difficult to find for such here...

application of biology for energy is highly fascinating for me and if there is any possibility for me to work on a project under you please let me know....i assure to stand worth for my consideration...

Hello

Our company is a holder of patents and know how relating to a remote generated plasma thin film deposition/sputtering technology demonstrating much improved coating speeds and characteristics compared to the current industrial standard, magnetron technology. Our technology can lay down materials that magnetron is not capable of or has great difficult in doing so. We can also adapt our technology to most existing magnetron systems. As part of our strategic development, we are seeking to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with actors in this industry.

If this is of interest to you, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you. For your information, please visit our site at www.plasma-quest.com where you will be able to judge the merits of our technology and its benefits,. I also invite you to download our 28 page HiTUS technology information document, which explains our technology in detail - www.plasma-quest.com/hitusintroduction.pdf - .

We look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for your attention to this email.

Kind regards
