Using aqueous colloid I managed to make an ultra thin film using a polyelectrolyte, I tried by drop-casting technique, but is difficult. May be if you consult this papers you can found any response.

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/adfm.200600587/abstract I consider that is possible to apply by spin coating technique.

http://apl.aip.org/resource/1/applab/v90/i3/p034107_s1?isAuthorized=no Is the layer-by-layer technique by using oppositely charged polyelectrolites.

Its luminescence is very striking, I had some problems to get a minor Stokes shift. But, I´m surprised that they are highly luminescent.

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
