Dear sir

 i want to do work on the synthesis nanoparticles in Liquids by Laser ablation. till i have not started the experiment. 

i have a confusion that what type of material i should use. 

Has there any list of materials ablatable for the different range of energies.

I think you can use water .Gold colloid in water is really stable and less oxidation will take place.It is in the case of gold nanoparticles. Which nanoparticles you are planning to synthesis ? Which laser you are using ?
