use in SPM tips, charge carrier, as part of NEMS and other electronic application etc, and more so in biotechnology like its selective attachment to ligands/ functional groups can be quite useful. Plenty of scope is there at the bottom.

There are specific applications where nanotubes do not have other competitors, its use is inevitable, more so, nanotubes are quite versatile. For example for gas sensors, pH sensors, optical guide, electronic transporter, guide and template for growth features in nanotech industry, novel optical properties, novel electrical property, specially conductivity, and many more functionality makes nanotubes so special that, it is immature that it should not be used. I agree much Physics has to be studied yet. It has to be studied as a separate science and technology due to its immense impact.

Welcome

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
