DEAR FRIENDS,
I have prepared Copper Nanoparticles in DI Water and want to separate them from solution. Kindly tell me the simple way to separate and dry these particles.
Thanks.

Yes thats correct... but why do some samples require particular rpm alone?
its a physical phenomena.Centrifuge process purely based on NP weight, gravity and centrifugal force.
Isn't it possible to centrifuge the solution and separate the nanoparticles??
Yes, I require Cu NPs....
Thank you
go for Centrifugation at high rpm or sonication can also be done.
You can liophilize the samples to remove the water and you will get your NPs in powder form
THANKS A LOT ... MR. QAISER AND DR.PAKRUDEEN...
Take the aliquots of your solution in different micro tubes and centrifuge it at 10k -12k rpm for 1 hour at 20 degree C. You pool the final pellet and lyoplize as powder for further use.

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.
There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
