No, ln (1/T) will not show  negative values .

Absorption coefficient

                                    alpha=2.303*(1/T)/t                                      

Where 'T' is the transmission and 't' is the thickness of the films. 

Do the calculation again and if the problem persist again let me know. Happy to help you.

thank you for your reply and i have one doubt why optical band gap is decreasing with increase in no of layers of the thin film

As the number of layers increases, the Eg i.e., band gap decreases which results in the change in optical wavelength...
