Nanotechnology is currently one of the most funded research areas in developed countries. It will have significant impact on the medical and biotechnology industries and healthcare technologies in the 21st century. Nanotechnology has wide-ranging applications, such as drug synthesis and delivery, cell surgery and therapy, early disease diagnosis and prevention, biosensors and medical implants. The organising of this event will help to promote IMechE as a leading organisation in the area of emerging technologies.
This seminar aims to address:
Technical topics working from the context of clinical needs, achievements and future aims. Explore relevant technical achievements, the role of nanotechnology in the advance of medicine and bio-sensing techniques.
The impact of nanotechnology will be demonstrated through leading presentations.

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.
