Event Description

The meeting will focus on bioanalytical and nanophotonic applications of plasmonic effects at nanoscale metal structures, utilizing the phenomenon of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR). This includes e.g. phenomenon occuring at molecular components due to local field enhancement effects, interactions with fluorescent dyes, sub-wavelength apertures as well as comparisons of simulations with experimental results.

Tentative speakers include:

M. Lamy de la Chapelle (Paris), M. Dienerowitz (Glasgow), J. Homola (Prague), V. Komarala (Dehli), S. Maier (London), M. Stockmann (Atlanta), J. Toppari (Jyväskylä), D. P. Tsai (Taipeh), S. Schlücker (Duisburg), I. Willner (Jerusalem)

Scientific Commitee
Itamar Willner (Jerusalem)
Marc Lamy de la Chapelle (Paris)
Mark Stockman (Georgia Tech)
Din Ping Tsai (Taipeh)
Stefan Maier (Imperial College)

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
